The MRP module of MPower, manufacturing resources planning, integrates order processing, inventory control, shop floor control, and purchasing, allowing accurate order tracking and work-in-process reporting. The MRP package also allows you to draw inventory from on-hand, open purchase order, and open customer order quantities, generating production schedules, purchase requirements, and labor requirements. It generates a master schedule, allows forecasting and "what if" scenarios, and provides the "glue" that binds the whole enterprise together in a market driven organization.

Product Configurator creates featurized bill of material templates that allow you to build products to order. Shop floor control tracks on-time shipments, and departmental performance and productiv-ity. Other functions include estimating job costs, completion times and calendars as well as job definitions, scheduling and routing.

All standard accounting functions such as order entry, purchasing, inventory control, accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and payroll are fully integrated into MPower. Invoices can be reproduced from history and profit reports generated: stock status and valuation reports also are available. Statements gener-ated by the accounts receivable module can have split terms. Detailed history and aging by customer can be produced. Audit trails and cash receipts journals are inherent parts of the MPower package. The accounts payable general ledger component is comprehensive and integrated. It features check writing, manual check entry and direct payment, debit and credit memos, and month end processing.

Order entry includes automatic calculation of commissions and generation of production and scheduling reports. Open order, back order, item, date wanted, and sales analysis by customer and item are some of the many reports that are triggered by this function in MPower

Purchasing in MPower allows users to create blanket purchase orders and orders for non stock items. It automatically generates purchase orders based on stocking levels derived from history with seasonal adjustment. Items can be cross referenced with vendor numbers; vendor history also is available. Recommended purchase lists are available as is trend analysis.

Bar code input for receiving inventory, cycle counts, and updating physical inventory is available in Inventory' Control. The bar code capability is redundant with terminal keyboard in case you cannot or do not wish to incorporate bar code technology in your operation.
