The CMAC General Ledger System has been designed to accommodate rapid company growth and expansion. Management may perform maintenance on all master accounts, history balances, and format controlling report files. An audit trail is provided by simply printing monthly and year-to-date summaries of the general ledger transactions. The budgeting module included with the General Ledger software allows the user to create budgets either by company or by departments within the company, then track the income and expenses associated against this budget.  Variance reports show where there are discrepancies and allow for immediate and informed decisions to be made based on the actual performance of the departments.
